How to tell if your Note 7 will explode.

By now you must have heard (or experienced) about the exploding Samsung Galaxy Note 7's. There was a problem in the batteries of the units and thankfully Samsung was quick to act on the issue and offered a recall for all the units sold globally (except for china). If you're still using your note 7 without any concern , I strongly advise you to take a look at what im about to tell you as it may save your phone or something even greater, your life.

In every market, except for China where the faulty batteries were never used, If you see the label below on your Galaxy Note 7's  box , you're clear.

Note the small dot on the barcode and the big blue "S" which stands for ""SAFE".  If this is present on your note 7's box then you are indeed safe. However if you are unable to find this label on your box then immediately contact Samsung for an exchange.Do this as soon as possible. You dont want your car destroyed , do you?

If for some reason you dont have the box anymore, no need to worry. Samsung has you covered. Samsung , on the 13th of September, will release an online database of all note 7 imei's. Thus you will be able to search via typing in your imei if your phone is safe or not. The imei number is at the back of the phone, behind the battery and you can also find it in your settings > About Phone > Status > IMEI information. If for some reason you cant find your IMEI then you can call Samsung support and they will guide you through on finding out if your device is faulty or safe.

Be careful and safe while handling the Note 7 people! I wish you good luck in getting your faulty Note 7's replaced!
