Samsung explains why the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is exploding.

We all know about the Note 7's around the world exploding but we're still in the dark about as to how and what is causing these devices to explode. Fortunately for us Samsung today briefly explained to us exactly that.

We all know the base issue and the root of the problem. The battery. However Samsung dug a bit more into the problem to explain to us what is causing the overheating of the battery cell.  According to Samsung the overheating is caused when "the anode-to-cathode comes in contact". The tech giant further went on to say that "this was a very rare manufacturing process error".

In addition , Samsung revealed that of the 35 explosions of the Note 7, 17 were from Korea,  17 in the U.S and 1 in Taiwan. The company also said that there have been no reported injuries globally, as of yet.

Finally , Samsung declined to officially confirm that the Samsung SDI batteries are at fault. When asked about this the company had this to say "Unfortunately we will not be able to confirm this as we work with several suppliers."
