While it is true that Samsung is doing all it can to take back all the faulty Note 7 units via the recall program , many users are still reluctant to use that exchange program and give back their Note 7 units.
For this, Samsung came up with a solution in the form of creating a designated website for checking if you have a note 7 with a faulty battery. This way anyone who wasn't planning to give back their original note 7 , now would , as Samsung would now have confirmed that their device will explode sooner or later.
You can just input the imei of your note 7 into the search bar on the site and it will show you if you have a defected unit. You can find your imei by going into settings > About phone > Status > imei information.
The number of faulty galaxy note 7's continue to increase and many people have been seriously injured because of it like this 6 year old boy.
